Why does split microfibre pick up dirt better?

When cleaning, we often think of putting in force or of the product we use. The difference is somewhere else though: in the build-up of the thread itself.

Why do ordinary cloths leave dirt behind?

Cotton cloths and standard microfibers from the supermarket often just move the dirt around. They push bacteria and grease residue ahead of them instead of absorbing them. That is exactly where the familiar streaks on glass and the dull haze on high gloss furniture come from.

What makes the splitting of the fibre so special?

The fibres of the iZi-Clean Wonder Cloth are split, which gives a very high density per square centimetre. That delivers three things:

• Capillary effect: the combination of polyester and polyamide creates a suction-like force. Water and dirt are pulled deep into the core of the cloth.
• No chemical necessity: the fine fibres penetrate into the microscopic pores of a surface. Water alone is enough for a hygienic result.
• Self-cleaning capacity: despite the absorption capacity, the cloth releases the dirt easily again when you rinse it out, so bacteria do not settle in it.

So why do you no longer need a cleaning product?
