There's nothing more to it. Only the number of sheets depends on your load.
Along the perforation. The rest stays neatly in the box.

Half a sheet or a whole one? Up to 4 kg or lightly soiled: half a sheet. Over 4 kg, heavily soiled or hard water: a whole sheet. You can tell hard water by the limescale on your tap.
All colours, darks too. Sort by colour as you're used to and follow the care label.

Yes. The sheet is concentrated detergent without the water that's in a bottle. Pre-treat heavy stains, just as you would otherwise.
Half a sheet up to 4 kg or lightly soiled, a whole sheet above that, for heavily soiled laundry or hard water.
If you wash four times a week with half a sheet, almost six months. With whole sheets, about three months.
Yes. The sheet dissolves completely, even in a short or cold programme, and leaves nothing behind in the drum.
No. The laundry comes out of the machine soft without fabric softener. For microfibre cloths that's even the rule: fabric softener seals the fibre.
Yes. The sheet is hypoallergenic and the formula protects against dust mites.
Surfactants of plant origin (sodium dodecyl sulphate, cocamidopropyl betaine, saponins from Quillaja saponaria, sunflower oil, tea seed oil), polyvinyl alcohol as the dissolvable sheet, water, kaolin, glycerine, citric acid, protease as the enzyme against stains, an anti-yellowing polymer, an anti-mould agent and fragrance.
