What makes a microfibre cloth different from a cotton cloth?
The secret is in the structure, not in the force. Where cotton mostly pushes dirt aside, microfibre grabs hold of it and takes it along.

The fibres are fine enough to grab even microscopic dirt. They split into tiny hooks that pull dust and grease inwards and hold on to them.

- Lightly damp for mirrors and windows. Wring the cloth out well, it should feel damp and not wet.
- Dry for dust. For a quick refresh not a single drop of water is needed.
- Fold it in four. That gives you eight clean sides one after the other.
- Wash it without fabric softener. Then the fibres keep their grip.
How do you wash a microfibre cloth without ruining the fibres?
Fabric softener is the biggest culprit: it leaves a film around the fibres and with it the absorbency disappears. Wash your cloths on their own or together with other microfibre cloths and you keep them lint-free as well.

Can I use one microfibre cloth for the whole house?
You can, but it works better to keep a separate cloth per room. That way you do not carry kitchen grease into the bathroom.
Do I still need cleaning product with a microfibre cloth?
Usually not. In most cases water does all the work. Only for stubborn dirt do you reach for something extra.
Why can you not use fabric softener?
Fabric softener leaves a film around the fibres. That makes them take up less moisture and dirt and the cloth loses its power.
